Emma aims to instil an overall sense of mental wellbeing and health; to help clients work through past traumas by showing them a different, more positive way of understanding them; and to free individuals from long held anxieties so they can maintain better relationships and live a happier life.
Having worked for 14 years in the Financial Sector, prior to re-training as a Counsellor, Emma has plenty of knowledge and direct insight of the Corporate world. This uniquely places her to *really* understand the kinds of challenge that individuals working in this demanding environment face.
Emma's background is in working with adults, from young adults right through to those at the other end of the age spectrum. She has a particular interest in working with clients affected by dementia and Alzheimers and has over two years experience of counselling residents, staff and family members within a care home setting.
Emma is able to offer both online counselling (Zoom or Skype) and telephone based counselling as well as Face-to-Face. Please contact her for more details.
